Attendance
Key Attendance Policies
Attendance coincides with the quarter. Corrections can only be made within the current quarter.
Q1: August 25th - October 30th
Q2: November 2nd - January 21st
Q3: January 25th - March 24th
Q4: March 25th - June 9th
After 5 consecutive days of illness, a doctor's note is required.
Attendance is recorded per block. A student must be present for 45 minutes to be considered present for that block.
All absences need to be reported through Parent Square. We cannot confirm these messages.
Attendance corrections can take up to 48 hours to correct. Please allow us time to properly record all attendance before notifying us with errors.
Every day in school supports learning and success. Attendance builds routines, confidence, and connection and being present matters academically and socially.
We’re here to help students stay engaged and be successful at school. If you have questions about attendance policies, how to submit an absence, or other resources related to attendance, please view the following resources:

How Absences Work
- If your child is marked absent or tardy, you will receive a message through ParentSquare.
- When you receive the notification, click on “Send Note to School and enter the reason for the absence—no need to use a separate form or platform.
- Once submitted, your school’s attendance staff will receive your note and if approved, update your child’s attendance record in Infinite Campus.
- All notes are securely logged in ParentSquare, helping schools maintain accurate records.

Other Options for Families
Families may also continue to provide a written absence note directly to the classroom teacher or school office.
